Bar to Bar Success is Par for the Course!
 

Participants at the 2008 Bar to Bar Golf Classic enjoyed brisk, sunny weather for a day of fun traveling to nine different downtown establishments to raise money for Central Prairie American Red Cross.

 

 

Once again, Jacksonville Main Street joined forces with Bud Light (A Gaudio & Sons), WEAI Radio, and Goodtime Doc's for this annual favorite that brings well over 1,000 people to Jacksonville's historic central business district.

 

Players were hosted by Bahan's Tavern, Bowl Inn, Brickhouse BBQ, City's, Doc's, Don's Place, Irish Toad, K of C Hall, and Lahey's Lounge, and sported event shirts printed by Hole in the Wall. West Central Illinois Mass Transit provided "Safe Ride" to ensure safe travel home for all those taking part in the day's activities.

 

Jacksonville's American Red Cross volunteers helped over 160 teams play through for a smooth running event that brought in over $12,000 to the organization that provides so many vital services to local citizens.
