In January 2006, Jacksonville Main Street held its first Murder Mystery Dinner Theater fund-raiser... and what a success it was! Attended by over 500 people, this popular offering is now planned as an annual event!
Writer, playwright, and performer Ken Bradbury developed a hilarious script for his theater class at Lincoln Land Community College to perform at 110 North East.
Jacksonville Main Street volunteer servers assisted Hamilton's Catering personnel in making sure the scrumptious meal was delivered to the audience on cue.
"Dinner is Served" provided high quality entertainment while subsidizing the Main Street program and downtown revitalization efforts.
Watch for the second production, "Love is a Many Splattered Thing," coming in early January, 2007. Tickets will be available in early December... and would make a great Christmas gift!
